A Home Information Pack (HIP) provides detailed information to buyers and sellers about the condition of a property - and its energy rating
You need to produce a HIP on your property before you place it on the market.
If you're selling your home, providing a HIP upfront means a potential buyer can make better informed decisions about buying your home – and they won't get any surprises later on that could delay the sale.
What you get:
- Property Information Questionnaire
- An Energy Performance Certificate
- A sale statement (summarising the terms of the sale)
- Legal documents including copies of the title to the property
- Searches including a search of the local authority and a drainage and water search
